Don’t know who is to blame here but I (thought I) bought a nice watch. Was charged for the amount just to find out 2hrs later that it wasn’t available anymore. So now I have to wait to be reimbursed to spend that money on something else… not impressed

Assez déçu par la transaction, j’avais passé commande pour une Breitling Navitimer B01, pour que 1 mois plus tard le vendeur me dise qu’il ne possède pas le modèle, une véritable perte de temps… Vraiment pas terrible…

I purchased a specific model of the Navitimer 41 and instead of receiving that model, I was given a frankenstein version. The dealer had piecemealed a strap and a case together to "meet" the specifications of the model I ordered, but it was definitely not a new and original watch. The warranty card also had the wrong model number on it because of the switch out (the warranty card had a different model number than what I ordered from the dealer's listing). In addition to the dealer not telling me that he was sending me the wrong watch, he also scratched the case when swapping out bracelets. The scratches were easy enough for me to notice right away and I can only imagine that the dealer knew about the scratches but thought he could get away without telling me, hoping I might not notice. When I brought up the scratches, he didn't deny them, furthering my belief that he knew he was sending me a watch that was scratched. For the scratches and the frankenstein version of the model I ordered, he offered a 100 euro refund which was definitely not a sufficient compromise in my opinion. Needless to say, I opted to return the watch immediately and receive a full refund; I won't even get into the issues I had in trying to return the watch to the dealer. I'm still waiting on my refund from Chrono24 but I HIGHLY recommend that you be cautious of this dealer's deceptive tactics. There also seems to be a deceptive practice happening on Chrono24's site where dealers will ask for negative reviews to be removed as a part of the refund process. Buyers are likely to comply because they don't want their refund to be held up for any reason. If you see reviews for watches that are several thousand dollars and those reviews are 5 stars across the board but with no written comment, I'd be cautious of the review because it may have been altered to appease the dealer during a refund process. Yes, I have experienced this with other dealers as well.

We wanted to offer good service and deliver the watch quickly. The watch was currently only available with a steel bracelet. We decided to swap the strap with an original Breitling leather strap to ensure fast shipping. I am sorry that it is not in your interests. We only had good intentions.
